Climate Cŏntrol™ Zoning System Garners Professional Remodeler’s 50 Best New Products for 2008

December 1, 2008

Recently, Uponor was honored by Professional Remodeler® magazine when the publication awarded the new Climate Cŏntrol™ Zoning System one of the 50 Best New Products for 2008. This top industry award recognizes the most significant new building products introduced each year based on technological advancement, new product development and increasing competition of a product line.

The new Climate Cŏntrol Zoning System uses the latest wireless technology for complete radiant control in every room of a home or building — offering users a system that is more convenient to control and requires less time for contractors to set up and install. By eliminating the hassle and expense of running thermostat wires through walls, this wireless system can significantly cut installation time, making the contractor’s job faster, simpler and easier.

The system features the world’s leading open wireless standard for home and building control, which is approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This new wireless protocol offers a better range and is less susceptible to interference, compared with alternative or older protocols.

The complete system consists of a base unit, an interface and wireless thermostats (purchased separately). The base unit uses wireless technology to connect individual room thermostats to it, and for even greater convenience, the interface module allows temperature changes in multiple rooms from a single location.

The versatile wireless thermostats in the Zoning System feature a slim, attractive design and even come with a stand for placement on a table or shelf, to blend with home or building décor.
