Overview
Before Uponor became the leader in radiant heating and cooling, plumbing and fire safety systems, there was the core of those systems — the tubing.
The first to develop a process for crosslinking polyethylene back in 1969, Uponor (who, at the time was Wirsbo), is now the largest manufacturer of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) tubing in the world with more than 2 billion feet in service in North America alone, and over 12 billion installed worldwide.
