Anything Canadian

As a solid and loyal Canadian living in Minnesota, Paul McCulloch is a big hockey fan, but he doesn’t shy away from fishing, camping and basketball either. He is a loyal spectator sports fan, and he cheers for Minnesota teams regardless of sport, unless of course, they play Toronto.

Product Knowledge and Pride

Paul McCulloch has become Uponor’s premier expert on fire safety with experience as a fire safety designer, lead, and now, supervisor in Technical Support. And even though he juggles many responsibilities, Paul’s favorite part of training is in the field. “Any good trainer likes getting his hands dirty,” he says. “While classroom training is important in drilling down theory, it is the field training that makes our contractors an extension of Uponor.” And if you want to see Paul beam with pride, watch him when he hears comments like “The system is so much easier to install than I thought” or “Uponor provides the most comprehensive design and field training in the industry.”

Up-Front and Center

Growing up as a shy kid in Canada, Paul McCulloch says he has come a long way. “I never imagined being comfortable conducting training and education classes for up to 80 people per session,” he says. But he is not only putting together a great training curriculum, he is also a passionate and caring teacher. It’s clear that he has found his calling, and he feels strongly about the importance Uponor’s fire safety system plays in saving lives. Along with his training responsibilities, Paul spends his time meeting with fire safety officials and code officials to educate them about the benefits of Uponor’s AquaSAFE fire safety system.
