2" Wirsbo AQUAPEX® Tubing Expansion Joint Kit
Uponor recommends expansion joints for every 50 feet of tubing to accommodate the expansion and contraction of PEX tubing caused by temperature changes.
To eliminate the added labor and costs required to build a loop from scratch, Uponor created an industry-first: the 2" Wirsbo AQUAPEX® Tubing Expansion Joint Kit. Not only does the kit cost less than buying the individual components and saves time over building a joint from scratch, because the kit requires fewer joints, it also provides more reliable performance.
The unassembled kit includes the following:
- One pre-formed 2" expansion loop
- Two 2" brass elbows
- Four 2" ProPEX® Rings
The kit is 44% less expensive than purchasing the 13 individual components (four feet of tubing, four elbows and eight rings) needed for onsite construction of an expansion joint.
