About Robert Bean
Robert Bean is a registered engineering technologist in construction engineering technology and a noted authority on radiant heating. In 2007, he was selected as a Distinguished Lecturer for the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), speaking on human factors in HVAC, radiant heating and cooling, and snow and ice melting systems. An avid student of industrial design and indoor environmental ergonomics, Bean volunteers his knowledge with industry groups across North America, while managing www.healthyheating.com, a not-for-profit site on anthropology, architecture and radiant-based HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems.
