TxAIRE Case Study Favors AquaSAFE™ Over Competitor’s Multipurpose System

October 13, 2011

The Texas Allergy, Indoor Environment and Energy (TxAIRE) Institute at the University of Texas at Tyler has built two identical test homes using different construction techniques to help identify, demonstrate and evaluate products that improve the energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality of buildings. One home features Uponor’s AquaSAFE™ multipurpose fire safety system, while the other home has a competitor’s multipurpose product that is installed with a “passive purge” design. According to the case study, the Uponor system was favored due to its design, installation and long-term sustainability features. To learn more, see the new TxAIRE case study on in Marketing + Sales/Case Studies/Fire Safety.
