Uponor’s Ingrid Mattsson Named One of Industry's Most Influential Women

Uponor North America’s Ingrid Mattsson, director, Brand Management, was named by Contractor magazine as one of the most influential women in the mechanical contracting industry. Mattsson began her career in the plumbing/HVAC industry in 1995 when she started working in Marketing and Communications for Wirsbo (now Uponor). Now, nearly two decades later, she oversees everything brand-related within the company, including advertising, communications, marketing, media relations, public relations, sponsorships and reputation management. In addition, she is also the co-founder of Uponor’s Sustainability Team, helping to form the company’s triple-bottom-line approach to sustainability that balances people, planet and profits. An accomplished speaker, Mattsson has played host and master of ceremonies for various industry events, including the famed Uponor Convention, and she has spoken at GreenBuilder’s Emerald Circle events. Mattsson is actively involved in Uponor’s Radiant Advisory Council, and serves on boards and associations within the industry. The latter activities include serving as vice chair of the Radiant Professionals Alliance, founding board member of the GreenBuilder Coalition, and member of GreenBuilder’s Emerald Circle.
